1. Contact your VA healthcare team and ask whether you are eligible to receive the requested service through the VA Community Care Network.
2. If VA approves Community Care, ask whether Detoxity or the appropriate affiliated medical provider may be selected as your community provider.
3. Wait for VA to issue your referral and authorization before scheduling a covered nonemergency service.
4. Once you receive the authorization, submit the information to Detoxity so our team can verify the approved provider, service, dates and number of visits.
