What should I bring?
Just yourself. We provide towels, earplugs, and everything you need to shower before and after your float. We provide you with a robe and slippers for your next session.
Do I need to know how to swim?
No. The water is so dense with Epsom salt that you float effortlessly.
What if I feel closed in?
You control the lights and the door, and you can keep it open if you prefer.
Can I float if I have a health condition or am pregnant?
Please let us know when you book, and our team will confirm the experience is right for you.
How long is the visit?
Plan for about 2½ hours, including time to shower and relax between sessions.
Is the float pod clean and sanitary?
Yes. The water is filtered between every float, and its high Epsom salt content makes it inhospitable to bacteria. Pool chlorine and hydrogen peroxide (which neutralize each other) are used every day in the float water to sanitize as well. Every guest showers before floating, and the suite is cleaned after each session.
What do I wear in the float pod?
Most guests float without clothing for the most comfortable, weightless experience. Your float suite is completely private, with its own shower. If you'd rather, a swimsuit is fine. Just know the Epsom salt can leave residue on fabric, so wear one you don't mind getting salty. We provide towels, earplugs, and everything you need.
What is Float Therapy?
Float therapy, also called sensory deprivation or floatation therapy, is an hour of floating effortlessly in warm Epsom salt water, in a quiet dark (though some prefer the lights on and the lid open), private pod. Its like meditation without the effort.
