Our team works with eligible Veterans who have received approved VA referrals or authorizations and helps verify referral information before scheduling covered services.
What is VA Community Care?
VA Community Care Network
The VA Community Care Network allows eligible Veterans to receive authorized healthcare from community providers when the VA determines that community care is appropriate.
In most cases, Veterans must receive a VA referral or authorization before beginning nonemergency services with a community provider.
You May Be Ready to Schedule If..........
✓ You are enrolled in VA healthcare.
✓ Your VA healthcare team has approved community care.
✓ You have received a referral or authorization for the requested service.
✓ Detoxity or the appropriate Detoxity-affiliated medical provider is listed on your authorization.
✓ The service requested falls within the dates and scope of your authorization.
WORKING TOGETHER
How the VA Community Care Process Works

Contact your VA healthcare team
Speak with your VA primary care provider, specialty provider, or local Community Care office about whether you qualify for care in the community.

Request an authorized community provider
Ask whether you may receive your authorized services through Detoxity Holistic MediSpa or the applicable affiliated medical provider in The Woodlands, Texas.

Wait for the referral or authorization
Your VA team must approve the care.
The authorization should identify:
- Approved provider
- Authorized services
- Number of visits
- Authorized treatment dates

Contact Detoxity
Once the referral has been issued, contact our team.
We will review the available authorization information before confirming covered treatment.

Not every service offered at Detoxity is a covered VA benefit.
Spa, elective, cosmetic, wellness, package, membership, and noncovered services remain self-pay unless expressly authorized by the applicable program.
