Structured Support
For Safe Healing, Mobility &
Tissue Integrity
What Is Post-Surgical Recovery Care?
Post-surgical recovery therapy focuses on supporting circulation, fluid balance, and tissue mobility following surgical procedures.
Recovery plans are customized based on procedure type, healing stage, and surgeon clearance when required.
Our approach is structured, progressive, and practitioner-guided.
Who This Is For
• Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck)
• Liposuction
• BBL
• Breast procedures
• General surgical recovery
• Mobility-focused scar care
• Areas of postoperative firmness
Medical clearance may be required depending on procedure.
When To Begin
Timing varies by procedure and surgeon protocol.
Most clients begin once cleared by their surgeon.
We do not initiate therapy without appropriate healing stage assessment.
Why Structured Recovery Matters
Following surgery, the body may experience:
• Swelling and fluid retention
• Tissue tightness
• Scar formation
• Fibrosis
• Restricted mobility
Understanding Postoperative Fibrosis
Fibrosis refers to areas of tissue thickening or firmness that can develop as the body heals.
It may feel like:
• Hardened areas beneath the skin
• Tight or restricted tissue
• Uneven texture
• Reduced glide between tissue layers
Select Detoxity providers have completed advanced training in postoperative fibrosis-focused techniques.
Our goal is to support tissue mobility and flexibility during recovery.
Our Advanced Recovery Technology
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Structured, anatomy-guided sequencing to support natural lymph flow and fluid balance.
Hivamat® Deep Oscillation
FDA-cleared oscillation technology used in rehabilitation settings.
Provides gentle mechanical stimulation without added pressure.
Electrons+® Guided PEMF
Practitioner-directed pulsed electromagnetic field integration.
PEMF technology (device-specific) has been medically cleared in the U.S. for:
• Adjunct treatment of non-union and delayed-union fractures
• Post-operative pain
• Post-operative edema
• Certain musculoskeletal pain conditions
At Detoxity, it is used as supportive therapy within individualized recovery plans.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
Increases oxygen availability in plasma, commonly used in medical and recovery settings to support tissue recovery environments.
Red Light Therapy
Low-level light therapy used to support cellular energy production and circulation.
