EBOO Medical Clearance

Every patient must be medically screened before receiving EBOO.

The clearance process generally includes:

  • Review of required laboratory results
  • Review of relevant medical history
  • Review of current medications
  • Evaluation of potential contraindications
  • Determination of eligibility
  • Authorization to proceed when medically appropriate

Medical clearance does not guarantee that a patient will qualify for treatment.

Laboratory testing and clearance fees are separate from the cost of the EBOO session.
